Love the story, and the character/morals of the main character. I also love that the book uses some harder words like "perilous", in the back it has a glossary. There's also a great math lesson in this book too!Not only is it a great story, but it has a great point too :) Definitely a keeper.

Well presented moral values. A good read for the elementary level child. It would also be good for adults to read and consider.
Awesome book! You did a good job Mr. Kriner, and you're the best english teaher ever! I loved the story, it was layed out very well.
The Dragon's Horn This book has a wonderful vocabulary for all ages. The message just oozes from the pages. My 2nd graders loved it.
Not many elementary age books incorporate so many learning tools as well as a 'moral to the story'. Very interesting read. Very interesting style. The author also displays a comedic side- I laughed out loud twice.
"The Dragon's Horn" is a fun and educational children's book that includes a vocabulary builder section using key words found throughout the story and indicated in "BOLD". I met the author in my small store and picked up a copy to share with children as their parents shop. This is geared to younger children, either to be read by an adult or on their own.
The story has all of the elements you might expect from a fantasy book, including a King, knights, a princess, an unlikely hero, and the titular dragon. I like that the message is about using brains over brawn and using math in a creative way. The artwork is also quite good and helps bring the story to life for young readers.

Cute story that both my kids, ages 5 and 8, enjoyed. Nice prose with some great vocabulary (and a glossary in the back!) and a fun math lesson. The artwork was well done, too. Definitely a fun read.
I really liked this book overall. Problem is print was tiny even on my cloud reader and I was unable to enlarge it causing me to struggle to read every word. Otherwise I'd gladly rate it 4 or 5 stars. **UPDATE** Author made an honest effort to address my formatting issues so am going to boost my star rating to "4". Thank you!
